LTL Delivery Appointments

If you are arranging for an LTL (less than truckload) or FTL (full truckload) delivery, your carrier must schedule an appointment with the fulfilment centre. If you would like to inquire about the appointment, please ask your carrier for the appointment request number with the requested date and the granted date before you contact FBA. This is particularly important in the very busy end-of-year period to avoid rejections owing to large deliveries arriving in the FC without a prior appointment.

Hazardous Materials and Unsuitable Units

Before you send your products to an Amazon fulfilment centre, it's important to know what is suitable for our fulfilment process and what is not. Kindly note there are certain criteria that can make units unsuitable for Fulfilment by Amazon the most important ones are listed below:

Improper Packaging

IMPORTANT: Failure to comply with these safety requirements and product restrictions may result in the fulfilment centre rejecting your shipment. Your rejected shipment would, at your cost, either be returned to you or be disposed of.

Stickered Inventory Best Practices

• Cover any original barcodes.
• Label each unit before sending it to Amazon.
• Use a laser printer for your labels.

Holiday Settings – Remember FBA Listings Can Remain Active while you are away.

Are you planning a well-earned break between Christmas and New Year? If so, your FBA listings can remain active during this period, and you can continue to sell. When you change your listing status from active to inactive (or "On Vacation"), the listings you fulfil yourself will be removed from Amazon.co.uk. However, your listings fulfilled by Amazon will remain available for sale on Amazon.co.uk and on other Amazon sites you may be selling on using Amazon’s European Fulfilment network as well as through Multi-Channel Fulfillment. When you’re ready to resume self-fulfilling orders, you simply need to reactivate your listing status.

Furthermore, if you have items in stock in Amazon fulfilment centres that you also sell through other channels, you don’t need to miss out on any business while you’re on vacation. Simply ask a member of your staff to direct these orders during your absence through Multi-Channel Fulfilment. Amazon will take care of the rest. Reminder - Amazon Fulfilled Shipment Report – an easy way to access detailed shipment data including for your VAT invoice creation.

We would like to remind you that the FBA shipment report is available in Your Seller Account. If you have not already done so, we urge you to take a closer look as the report can provide you with a very easy and convenient way to get an overview of activity related to your FBA account such as all orders shipped through FBA, including price, delivery, and gift wrap fees. Many sellers have requested an easy-to-use and reliable way to incorporate information about their FBA orders into their “normal” VAT invoicing processes.

The report can be requested on demand and contains information about all FBA orders that have been shipped within the specified timeframe. The report is currently offered as a tab-delimited text file and can be downloaded in Your Seller Account. The report data is generated on a nightly cycle. Do check back daily for new updates. Navigate to Reports > Fulfilment and select the Order Report. From the drop-down menu, select "Amazon Fulfilled Shipment Report."
